1.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, reservations and agreements with regard to all accommodations and camping pitches and oth er facilities that are rented out and offered by B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn.

1.2 In these General Terms and Conditions, the term 'tenant' and 'you' are understood to mean: the person who concludes an agreement with B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn with regard to the rental/use of accommodation and/or camping site and/or other facilities. The term 'user' (hereinafter also referred to as 'guest') is understood to mean: the tenant and the persons specified by the tenant who (will) use the accommodation and/or camping site and/or other facilities rented by the tenant.

1.3 These General Terms and Conditions apply regardless of your (prior) reference to any own terms and conditions or to other terms and conditions. B&B Stieltjeskanaal / At Aquamarijn rejects all general terms and conditions to which you refer or which are used by you.

1.4 Agreements deviating from these General Terms and Conditions are only valid if agreed in writing.

2.1 B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Aquamarijn only accepts reservations from people who are 18 years or older. Reservations by persons younger than that age are therefore not valid.

2.2 B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn reserves the right to refuse deviating reservations, especially groups, or to set special conditions without stating reasons.

2.3 If B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn processes your reservation, B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn will send you a confirmation within 14 days after the reservation has been made. You should check this for correctness immediately after receipt. Any inaccuracies must be reported immediately to B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn.

2.4 If you are not in possession of a confirmation within 14 days of making the reservation, you must contact us without delay, failing which the reservation cannot be invoked.

2.5 An agreement is concluded between you and B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn when B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn has confirmed the reservation to you.

2.6 The agreement concerns the rental of accommodations and/or camping site and/or other facilities for recreational use, which by its nature is of short duration.

If your reservation cannot take place in whole or in part because the company is (wholly or partially) or will be closed in order to comply with guidelines and/or instructions from the (local) government or relevant authorities at the discretion of B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn in the field of public health, you will receive a voucher worth the amount you paid for the reservation. Offering a voucher under these circumstances forms part of the agreement and does not qualify as a modification of the agreement.

4.1 If, after the agreement has been concluded, you wish to make changes to the agreement, B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn is not obliged to accept them. 4.2 If, after the conclusion of an agreement for more than one accommodation and/or camping pitch, you wish to reduce the number of accommodations and/or camping pitches, the cancellation conditions as described in article 14 of our General Terms and Conditions apply.

4.3 If, due to other circumstances, B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn has to make a change to a reservation you have booked with regard to the period of your stay or the type of accommodation, B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn can offer you a suitable alternative.

5.1 The tenant and other users are not permitted to hand over the accommodation and/or camping site under whatever name and for whatever reason to persons other than the persons named in the agreement, unless otherwise agreed in writing with B&B Stieltjeskanaal. / Bij Aquamarijn.

6.2 Price discounts and/or special offers can no longer be used if the confirmation of the reservation has already been sent by B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn.

6.3 All prices are, insofar as applicable, including VAT, unless stated otherwise.

6.4 B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn has the right to implement and settle price increases as a result of interim adjustments of legal regulations or provisions (including, but not limited to VAT, tourist tax) over which B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn has no influence.

7.1 In addition to the rent, you/the tenant also owe tourist tax and the costs of additional optional extras.

7.2 The tourist tax contribution is determined by the relevant municipality of the place of business. You/the tenant owe B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn the applicable rate of tourist tax determined by the relevant municipality at all times.

8.1 For a stay of 3 consecutive nights and/or a booking of 3 or more accommodations, a deposit of 30% of the total rent must be paid within 7 days after the booking. 9.1 The rented accommodation/camping pitch can be occupied on the agreed day of arrival as stated on the confirmation of the reservation, from 3 p.m. On the agreed day of departure as stated on the booking confirmation, the accommodation must be vacated before 10:30 am.

9.3 If the use of the accommodation and/or camping site is terminated earlier than on the agreed date as stated on the confirmation of the reservation, the tenant is not entitled to a refund of (part of) the rent and/or costs by B&B Stieltjeskanaal. / At Auquamarijne. 10.5 B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn reserves the right to make changes to the structure and opening hours, including a partial or complete closure thereof, without you being entitled to compensation.

10.6 In order to carry out necessary maintenance, you will allow work to be carried out on the accommodation or other facilities during your stay without being entitled to compensation.

10.7 For safety reasons, it is not allowed to place tents near the permanent accommodations. This is permitted on camping pitches, insofar as this has been agreed upon at the time of reservation/booking.

10.8 The tenant must leave the camping site clean (ie: do not leave any rubbish on the pitch, but place them in the container in rubbish bags).

17.2 B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn is not liable for service disruptions or defects in services provided by third parties.

17.3 You/the tenant and each user are jointly and severally liable for all loss and/or damage to the rented accommodation and/or camping site and/or other property of B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn arising during the use thereof by you and/or other users, regardless of whether or not this is the result of acts or omissions by yourself and/or third parties who are on the premises with your permission.

17.4 You / the tenant indemnifies B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn against all claims with regard to damage from third parties that are the result of any act or omission of yourself, other users, your travel companions or third parties who are on the site with your permission.

17.5 In case of incorrect use or incorrect leave behind, including but not limited to excessive pollution, additional costs will be charged, which you are then obliged to pay immediately.

You are responsible for having the valid travel documents required for your destination. B&B Stieltjeskanaal / Bij Aquamarijn accepts no liability for the consequences resulting from not being in possession of the correct travel documents.
