Fishing in Stieltjeskanaal - right at your doorstep!

Stieltjeskanaal is a canal in the Netherlands. The water is fished relatively frequently and is considered top water.  

The most commonly caught fish here are pike, zander, perch, and bream. The most successful fishing method is spinning.  

Coevorden is an amazing fishing destination in Drenthe. With various fishing ponds, canals, and lakes, Coevorden offers many opportunities for a successful day of fishing. Go carp fishing at van Heutszpark, the Drostendiep, and/or the Lutter Hoofdwijk, or take on the challenge with a baiting session at the Coevorden-Vechtkanaal or the Schoonebeeker Diep.
